Disappearance of Allan George Whyte and Maureen Joyce Braddy

On November 23, 1968, 17-year-old Allan Whyte and his 16-year-old girlfriend, Maureen Braddy went to a dance at the YMCA on Mundy Street in Bendigo, Victoria, Australia. Around 9 p.m. Allan and Maureen were seen outside of the dance hall. Allan's brother invited the couple to an after-party at his house, but they refused. Allan told his brother he was dropping Maureen off at her house. Neither one made it home that night and haven't been seen since.

There had been some talk that the couple may have run away from home, but it's believed that they may have met foul play. Maureen and Allan worked at the Crystal Egg Company on Garsed Street. Allan left behind his recently bought car and his savings account was untouched. Maureen also hadn't collected her wages from the previous week.

The family has posted a million dollar reward for successful information on the two.

Allan was 17 at the time and is a white male. He's described as a happy-go-lucky kind of guy.

Maureen was 16 at the time and a white female. She's 163 cm and 5'4". She has black hair and blue eyes. When she walked she was pigeon-toed. She may have also been pregnant when she disappeared.
