Disappearance of Kirste Gordon and Joanne Ratcliffe

4-year-old Kirste Gordon and 11-year-old Joanne Ratcliffe were attending an Austrailian Rules football match on August 25, 1973, at Adelaide Oval in Adelaide, South Austrailia, Austrailia. Kirste was there with her Grandmother and Joanne was there with her parents. The families knew each other well as they had seasons tickets.

Joanne needed to go to the bathroom and Kirste's grandmother asked if Joanne could take Kirste with her. They came back, but a little over a half hour Kirste needed to use the toilet again. Joanne and Kirste left. The family members soon became worried and went and searched the football stadium for them.

The Assistant Curator of the Oval saw the girls leaving with a man. In the next 90 minutes, there were four different sightings of the girl. Witnesses claimed they saw them with a man about 3 kilometers from the Oval 90 minutes after they left. It was said that Joanne appeared distressed.

Some believe that the disappearance of these two girls may be perpetrated by the same man who kidnaped the Beaumont children. It's believed that the girls may have been murdered by their kidnapper.

There is an AU$1,000,000 reward.
