November 26, 1983 San Mateo Doe *Update likely Identified*

Around 8:33 am on November 26, 1983, a body was found on Lower Pillar Point/ Ocean Beach in Half Moon Bay. They had died earlier this morning. Their murder was brutal as they were beaten, strangled and shot, and their wrists were also slashed.

The victim was born a white male, but they could have been transgender or a drag queen as they were found with female clothing. At the time of death, they were between 19 and 25 years old. They were 5'10" and 140 lbs. They had hazel eyes and short brown hair.

They were found wearing female clothes including fake female sponge breasts. They were wearing light yellow knee-length Capri pants, light yellow jacket, a multicolored turtleneck t-shirt ( maroon with multicolored stripes), black nylon stockings, brown colored pantyhose, size small North Beach brand blue bikini underpants, beige lace underpants, and beige bra with foam or sponge padding. Was also wearing a white metal necklace with a cross and two white metal rings. No wig was found, but it is possible they could have worn one.

UPDATE:
DNA Doe Project announced on October 8, 2019 that this Doe was Identified and confirmation is pending.
