Disappearance of Ludger Belanger



On November 25, 1975, Ludger Belanger was hunting with his wife and brother rabbits and birds. Luger decided he wanted to continue hunting, so he was dropped off along Route 105 in Washington, Maine near his home. He told his wife he would be home by noon. SHe needed him to give her a ride to her waitressing job.  He never showed up. The investigation revealed that Ludger had shot a deer dragged it to the road and had gotten a ride from someone. Foul play is suspected.

Ludger was 25 years old at the time and is a white male. He went by the nicknames Ludge and Ludgie. He is 5'7" and 125 lbs. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a red and black plaid jacket, green cotton pants, a blaze orange hat, and green rubber boots. His .30-30 Rifle was never recovered.
