On May 1, 1995 bones were discovered in a ditch in Section #36 in Condit County, Illinois. More were discovered in a harvested cornfield and some near the drainage ditch. The bones belonged to a woman and had been scattered due to animal activity. There were clothing hair and jewelry found in the area also. She may have died up to 11 months before.
The bones belonged to a white woman between 19 and 41 years old. She was around 5'5". She had straight brown hair with a reddish tint. There was a size medium V necked short sleeved top with buttons down the center of the front and back, a pair of sweat pants. There were two rings. One ring is a gold wedding band and the second is a gold metal ring with a green stone in the middle surrounded with smaller empty circles, which may have had stones at one point.
