On May 5, 1999 at 7:20 a.m. 28-year-old Carla Whitehurst was found dead in her apartment at 139 McLennan Ave. in Syracuse, New York. Her cause of death was asphyxiation.
She left behind five young children. She was described as a caring and loving mother.
