Mystic Spirits: Obambo

In Central Africa, there is a spirit called the Obambo. It's believed that when the person isn't buried with all the proper rites they would be unable to rest. When they tire of being out in the bush and often return to their loved ones. Sometimes they ask for them to build a home near them so they aren't lonely.

If they are seen the living a ceremony is started. It starts with the dance around the grave of the dead who returned. Music and drums are played and a fashioned rude idol is made and the spirit is laid to rest.
