Feb 10,1987 Detroit, Michigan Jane Doe

On February 10, 1987, a young woman was found in a landfill on the eastside of Detroit on Harper Avenue. She had been stabbed to death within the last 48 hours. She was believed to be between 18 to 20 years old. She was 5’5 to 5’6 and 114 lbs.

It is sad to say she was also a recent mother. It was found that she was lactating and that she had an Episiotomy. It was determined that she had given birth within 2 months and a year. She seemed to be in good health also. She was described as having good muscle tone.

She had also recently received a new hairstyle within two weeks of death. Her natural hair color was brown, but her hair had been highlighted with blonde and reddish tints. It was layered and tapered with a long nape. It was described as an updated shag.

The only clothes she was found in was black bikini panties that were well worn.

She was found with two rings and both of them were considered costume jewelry. One was the thing with a roped around design, it was found on her left pointer finger. The second ring was large with a marquee cut center stone with surrounding round clear stones on steps, and this was found on her left ring finger.

She has Dentals and Fingerprints on file, but no DNA. In 2014 her body was exhumed to acquire DNA, but DNA was insufficient for profiling.
