Murder of Stephanie Lynn Hebert

On June 13th 1978 5 year old Stephanie Hebert from Waggaman, LA walked barefoot towards a friends 3 doors down. Stephanie never made it there. When her parents found out they reported her missing and soon the FBI went on a search for her in the nearby woods. The search was a failure as they could not find her.

On November 29, 1978 a hunter found her remains in St. Charles Parish. She had been dead for almost six months. Her clothing and glasses had been laying near the body. Animals had scattered many of her bones. She was either sitting on or against a fallen log and was possibly tied to it as a rope was found at the scene.

She was taken a month after her kindergarten graduation and 17 days before her 6th birthday.

In 2013 Daniel Parker Sr. is a suspect after it was found out that he threatened a rape victim (who knew Stephanie) That if she talked she would end up like her.

There isn't much info about the case.
