Disappearance of Linda St. Germaine

12-year-old Linda St. Germaine was living with her mother and brother in a motel in Schuyler Falls, New York. A fire had gutted their home. On Feb. 13, 1973, Linda told her brother she was running away to Burlington, Vermont by crossing the ice on Lake Champlain.

Her footprints were found leading from the motel unit to a thin area of ice new Valcour island. The footprints stopped there and it's believed that Linda fell through the ice and drowned. Her body was not found.

Linda is a white female and 12-year-old at the time. She was 5'1" and 100 lbs at the time. She had brown eyes and blue eyes. She has a birthmark from the center of her chin down her neck. She was wearing a green and blue hooded parka, brown corduroy pants, and brown suede shoes.
