Unsolved Murder of Danny DiBenedetto



On February 8, 2005 around 7:35 p.m. police were responding to a shooting at 33 Dartmoor Crescent, in Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada. They found the victim Danny DiBenedetto laying on the living room floor. He was conscious and stated three men entered his home and robbed him. Before they left they shot him. He was transported to the hospital but had succumbed to his gunshot wounds.

Witnesses had seen three masked men leaving the residence. They were black males all wearing Ski Masks. One was wearing a black puffy jacket with fur around the collar, another was described as having their hair pulled back wearing a grey tracksuit and grey hoodie. The third was just described as wearing a dark ski mask.
