Murder of Richard James Carns
On Feb. 9, 2002, around 6 a.m. a man broke into a home on 1905 Orca Street in Anchorage, Alaska. Richard James Carns was staying there and confronted the intruder. The intruder pulled out a gun and began shooting. Richard was hit and fatally wounded. He had died at the scene.
The suspect is a black male in his mid 20's with an average weight and height.
