On October 5, 1995, Andre Gomez was in his trailer at the Doug Wilson Farm Camp on Auctioneer Rd. off Highway 403 in Sampson County, North Carolina. Andre was shot while he looked out his trailer window after 3 suspects attempted to rob another farm worker.
One suspect was described as a black male who was heavy-set and was between 5'6" to 5'8".
The murder occurred during a time that at least 14 robberies of migrant farmworkers between 1994 to 1995.
