Murder of Francis Laforest

On October 17, 2000, Francis Laforest was leaving his home with his spouse on boulevard Terrebonne in Terrebonne, Quebec, Canada. A vehicle would approach them at a high speed and two occupants would rush at Francis and beat him to death.

A few months before the murder someone had burned the bar he owned, The Bistro McTavish, in the old Terrebonne sector.
