Disappearance of Aliayah Lunsford

On September 24, 2011, 3-year-old Aliayah Lunsford was reported missing from her Weston, West Virginia by her mother Lena Lunsford.

A year later Aliayah's five siblings were adopted by Craig and Cammie Cole. They had suspicions that the children may have known what had happened to their sister. They weren't for sure until two of her sisters who were 9 and 11 at the time Aliayah's disappearance came forward.

They came forward in 2016 claimed that they watched their mother hit Aliayah with a piece of wood. They said that she was found dead the next morning and their mother hid her body in the woods.

The girls said they promised to never tell anyone and they were terrified of their mother. One sister said that Aliayah seemed to be treated the worst out of all the siblings. She would get harsher punishments than anyone else.

The two girls were taken to the woods separately to point out where their mother buried Aliayah. They pointed out the same area without talking to each other. The dogs were brought in for the search and Aliayah's body was there at one point, but it was moved somewhere else or animals had gotten to the body.

Lena was charged for her daughter's death. Her husband said that he had no idea that Aliayah had been killed that the two did bath salts that night and he drank some beer and went to bed. He went to work and came back and was told by Lena Aliayah was missing.

Lena was charged and is going to serve life in prison.

Aliayah is a white female and was 3 at the time of her disappearance. Her ears are pierced and she was missing her four front teeth at the time. She was 3' and 35lbs She has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a purple Dora P.J. bottoms and a pink princess shirt.
