Disappearance of Joanne Williams

On December 7, 1978, 22-year-old Joanne Williams was last seen driving from her residence in the 500 block of East Gibson St. in Scranton, Pennsylvania in her 1977 Datsun 200 SX with white racing stripes. She was heading to an exercise class at her dance school on Route 6 in Chinchilla. She left the school around 10 p.m. and never arrived home

Her car was later found on December 16 parked at Lafayette Street and North Everette Ave. It was unlocked and her paycheck, purse and other things were inside undisturbed. There was no sign of her and was never seen alive again. SHe declared legally dead in 1991.

There is a possible suspect in the case, Frank Osellanie. He was convicted of kidnapping, raping, and murdering a 9-year-old Scranton girl in 1990 and has been in prison since. He's a person of interest in a few cases including the disappearance of 11-year-old Michelle "Jolene" Lakey. It's unsure if he's involved in this case. He maintains his innocence in all the cases put against him. Investigators are unsure if he's involved.

Joanne is a white female and 22-years-old at the time. She's 5'0" to 5'4" and 95 to 105 lbs. She's a strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a beige swede jacket, blue jeans, and a leotard.
