Murder of Daniel Roop






Around 12:50 a.m. on Feb. 17, 1999, police responded to the 2400 block of Drake Street in Richmond, Virginia. Residents had called the police about gunshots in the area. When police arrived they found Daniel Roop unconscious and not breathing. He had been shot and killed.
