Unsolved Murder of Tina Elizabeth Foglia

Around 3 a.m. on Feb 1, 1982, 19-year-old Tina Foglia left her home in Brentwood, New York to see Equinox, a Queens band, at the Hammerheads Nightclub, on Sunrise Highway in West Islip. She hitchhiked there. She did make it to the nightclub but never made it home. 

 Her family reported her missing on the third. Later that day her body was found dismembered and placed in bags along the exit ramp westbound Southern State to the northbound Sagtikos. Her clothes were never found she was last seen wearing a white waist-length hooded jacket, black slacks, and brown suede shoes.  She may have been killed by someone who picked her up while hitchhiking.
