In November of 1978 34-year-old Pamela Edie was a noted cook and she also conducted the "Beggars Banquet" program on the radio station WAMU-FM. The program was dedicated to food preparations, she did interviews, and allowed callers to ask food questions.
On February 23, 1979, the 34-year-olds children found her murdered inside her
home at 230 E Street, NE, Washington D.C. There was evidence that she had been beaten with a blunt instrument and choked, but the killer decided to stab her to death.
