Disappearance of Helen Claire Frost

Around 8 p.m. on October 13, 1970, 17-year-old Helen Frost came home to the apartment she shared with her sister Sandy and Darlene and her baby in Prince George, British Columbia, Canada. Helen asked Sandy if she wanted to go on a walk with her and Sandy declined. It was too cold outside, and Helen left around 8:20. She never returned back home and was reported missing two days later and was going to turn 18 on October 17th.

In the spring of 1970, Helen went to a home of unwed mothers and gave birth to a daughter Sandra Jeanette on May 13th. Shortly afterward she went back to Prince George and lost custody of her daughter. She tried to get custody during the summer, but it was unsuccessful. Her relationship with the baby's father, Stefan Grumpner, ended.

At the time Helen was working odd jobs including being a busser at the Hudson's Bay Company cafeteria and a gas station painter for a company.

Helen was considered an introvert and a private person but did have a spontaneous side. Like for example when Helen was 14 and Sandy was 15 in 1967 they went to Abbotsford to work as berry pickers. The following summer they went to Penticton and spent time hitchhiking and sleeping outside after jobs didn't materialize. They were comfortable with truckers who would sometimes buy them a meal and ask another truck to help them on their journey. Helen was comfortable with this kind of risk-taking.

Helen is a Caucasian woman and was 17 at the time. She's 168 cm( 5'6") and 57kg (126lbs). She has blue eyes and short blonde hair. She may be going by the alias's Lana Lunn, Lana Lnun, Debbie Soles.
