Murder of Charles Dale Roberts

58-year-old Charles Dale Roberts arrived in Billings, Montana on March 30, 2007. Charles was traveling from Everett, Washington to Missouri by bus. The bus had to stop in Billings due to the snow storm that hampered traveling on the highway.

His body was found around 12:30 p.m on April 2, 2007. He was beaten and impaled by an object near the railroad tracks in downtown Billings on the 2500 block of Montana Ave. It appears he was transient living down by the railroad tracks in his time in Billings.
