Murder of Ramona Lisa Wilson



On Saturday, June 11, 1994, around 9:45 p.m. she told her mother she was meeting up with a friend and was going to various graduation parties. She left on foot and may have been seeking a ride to Moricetown, west of Smithers, British Columbia.

 Her family did not hear from her the next day. She didn't arrive at school on Monday and her friends thought she may be staying with a boy she met in Moricetown. She then didn't show up for her shift at work. Her family called the RCMP and a search for her began on the 13th and continued for months.

On April 9, 1995, people riding ATV's in a wooded area on Yelich Rd. near Smithers airport. Ramona is possibly a victim of the Highway of Tears Murders.
