Around 12:23 a.m. on April 3, 1995 40-year-old Fredrico Cordova and his wife were leaving a market near the intersection of NE 9th St. and Alberta in Portland, Oregon. A young African American man approached the couple from a vehicle. Frederico and the Unidentified male began to argue. Their arguing scared Fredrico's wife so she was going to go get help. She soon heard gunshots and saw her husband dead.
At this time Fredrico was an 11-year Veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
The Suspect is an African-American male around the ages of 18 to 20 years old at the time. He had black hair in a short afro style. The vehicle the man was seen exiting was tan or yellow in color.
