Disappearance of Micheal J. Woodward
On April 23, 1972, 9-year-old Micheal J. Woodward was playing in his yard. His father was busy mowing the lawn nearby in their Fort Jackson, South Carolina home. Sometime between 9 a.m. and noon Micheal went missing without a trace.
After he went missing a massive search for the boy. The search party had more than 400 soldiers, volunteers were on horseback, motorcycles, jeeps, and three helicopters to search for Micheal. Unfortunately, he was not found.
Micheal is a white male and was 9 at the time of his disappearance. He was 4'8" and 70 lbs. He has blonde hair and blue eyes. He was described as having protruding teeth. He had injured his left eye in a fishing accident. The injury hadn't healed at the time he disappeared and may have made him blind and or needed surgery. He was wearing brown striped pants and tennis shoes.
