Murder of Terry Cornell


20-year-old Terry "Skeeter" Cornell left an Avalon Bar on 1826 South Ave. in Syracuse, New York around 3:15a.m on September 7, 1975. She was seen walking on the 200 blocks of Glenwood Ave. five minutes later. Her body was found around 12:42 p.m. that day in a culvert in the 100 block of McDonald Rd. near Corcoran High School. She was choked and stabbed to death. one of her sandals was found near 109 Strathmore Drive, and the other was found on 211 Strathmore Drive.
