Disappearance of Susan Robin Bender




On April 25, 1986, 15-year-old Susan Robin Bender left her home in Modesto, California to stay with friends in Carmel, California. She was at the Greyhound bus depot on 10th St. in Modesto, making a phone call. She was seen entering an unidentified olive-green 1977 Ford van outside the station. She was never seen again.

Susan's diary, address book, and some clothing were located at suspects home. The person was questioned and released due to lack of evidence. It isn't stated whether or not they are still a suspect.

Susan is a biracial female she has both white and Native American heritage and was 15 at the time of her disappearance. She is 5'5" and 130 lbs. She has black hair and brown eyes. she has freckles and her ears are pierced. She was wearing a light blue skirt with multicolored dots, a light blouse, a white vest, and a gold bracelet.
